We operate like a small business to help our customers deliver great experiences through communications, yet we have the necessary foundations and support of NZ Post when we need it.We're looking for a Digital Communications Specialist to join us on a fixed-term parental leave cover — ideally starting mid November 2025 through to September 2026, while one of our team takes time out with their whānau.

- About the roleYou'll take a hands-on approach to brand management, email delivery and marketing initiatives, ensuring desired outcomes are achieved.
You'll be the guardian of Datam's brand across online channels and within internal and external marketing collateral.Here's what that looks like day-to-day:Lead the deliverability of specific email campaigns; prior experience with email platforms would be idealKeep our website and LinkedIn fresh, on-brand and customer-focused — improving usability and content along the wayCreate and maintain great tools and collateral that help our sales and product teams tell our story.
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Suite would be desirableSupport marketing and PR activity that builds our brand and grows our customer relationshipsBe a go-to connector across teams — work with tech, product, and the customer success team to make sure communication flows smoothly inside and outAs part of the Product team, you'll work closely with the Product Managers to understand customer needs and will also collaborate with Technology, Sales and the Service Teams to execute programmes that drive successful customer engagement, outcomes and brand preference of Datam.Mōu- About youYou're experienced in email delivery and understand the detail and design thinking that sit behind successful communication outcomes.
Your background might span B2B, marketing, communications or digital design, but what really sets you apart is your curiosity, initiative, and confidence to take ownership and deliver results.
You've got a good eye for visual storytelling and know how design and content work together to create an engaging customer experience.We're a collaborative bunch who thrive on teamwork, sharing ideas and enjoying what we do, so we're looking for someone who also enjoys working with others, isn't fazed by ambiguity, and knows how to make progress even when the path isn't perfectly clear.
