Parata Limited are looking for an Intermediate Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in New Zealand, to join our team across our Tairawhiti and Kaipara operations.

Main Duties:

• Oversee roading and drainage construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Manage and implement Quality Assurance (QA) processes to maintain high construction standards.
• Prepare and submit Quality Process documentation to the client, ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, reporting to senior management.
• Responsibilities include:
• Lead or support the delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
• Plan, design, and manage civil construction and maintenance projects
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications.
• Plan, tender, implement, and supervise Construction Contracts.

You’ll ideally bring:

• A recognised tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience managing civil construction projects.
• Project Management and Construction Management qualifications desirable.
• A good grasp of NZ environmental regulations
• Experience supervising contractors and consultants.

Please note: this role requires travel between the Tairawhiti and Kaipara.
