Job Title: Stone Fabricator

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate should have experience working with stone fabrication machinery, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality workmanship that meets client specifications.

• Read and interpret shop drawings, templates, and specifications.
• Cut, shape, and polish stone using fabrication tools and machinery (bridge saws, CNC machines, grinders, polishers, hand tools).
• Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure proper finishing, edge profiles, and surface treatments according to customer requirements.
• Handle and move heavy stone slabs safely using appropriate equipment.
• Repair chips, cracks, and imperfections in stone surfaces when required.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and a clean, safe working environment.
• Collaborate with installers, project managers, and other team members to meet deadlines.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations.

• Proven experience as a stone fabricator or in a similar role within the stone, countertop, or construction industry.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and templates.
• Strong technical skills in operating stone fabrication machinery.
• Knowledge of different types of stone and their properties.
• Physical strength and stamina for lifting and handling heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-conscious with a good understanding of workplace safety standards.

• Experience with CNC stone machines.
• Valid forklift license.
• Knowledge of installation processes.

• Workshop/Factory setting with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy materials.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
