Christchurch - Steel fabricator / welder

We are looking to expand our small team and are seeking an experienced structural steel fabricator / welder to join our workshop team in Islington, Christchurch.

To apply for the role you should possess the following:

• The ability to fabricate / assemble structural steel items.
• The ability to read basic construction plans and drawings.
• Have experience in structural steel fabrication, experience in welding is preferred.
• Welding tickets are preferred but not essential.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Be motivated, reliable, punctual and have a good attitude towards health and safety.
• Have good communication skills and manners – both with our management team and the workshop team.

Benefits:

• 45 hours per week - 7:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri, with extra hours available when required.
• Competitive pay - $30 - $40 per hour depending on experience
