About the Role
As Territory Manager for the South Island, you will work closely with surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital procurement across public and private hospitals. A key part of the role involves in-theatre support, product education, and driving product adoption while delivering against sales targets.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow existing accounts across public and private hospitals
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the surgical and endoscopic space
- Provide in-theatre clinical support, product education, and training to surgeons and theatre staff
- Build strong working relationships with surgeons, nurses, and theatre personnel
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan aligned with national strategy
- Provide market and customer feedback to support product development and innovation
- Proven experience in medical device sales or healthcare sales
- Hands-on medical theatre experience (operating theatre / surgical environment essential)
- Strong clinical acumen with confidence supporting cases in theatre
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously across a large geographic territory
- Based in Christchurch and willing to travel regularly throughout the South Island
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence
- New Zealand Resident or Citizen
- $90,000 – $100,000 base salary, plus car allowance and performance incentives
