Automotive Refinisher

About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for carrying out all aspects of automotive refinishing, from preparation through to final finish. Working closely with the foreman and wider team, you’ll ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

- Complete all refinishing work including preparation, masking, priming, and spray painting
- Deliver high-quality finishes using water-based and solvent-based systems
- Read and interpret job sheets to ensure accurate and efficient work
- Maintain detailed job records, including time tracking and materials used
- Ensure all vehicles are handled with care and returned in clean, finished condition
- Work collaboratively with team members and support workshop operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Trade qualification in Automotive Refinishing or minimum 3 years’ industry experience
- Proven experience with water-based and solvent-based paint systems
- Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques, materials, and vehicle components
- Solid understanding of health & safety and industry compliance requirements
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Current FULL driver’s licence
