Class 5 Driver

Position Overview:

Must be available for one weekend day per week. As a Class 5 Truck Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and safe transportation of loads while upholding our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 5 truck to transport materials or machines to various job sites or customers.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or maintenance needs.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, delivery times, and fuel consumption.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns.
• Abide by all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
• Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained, ensuring it's ready for use each day.
• Address any delays or issues with professionalism and courtesy.
• Assist with additional tasks, including route planning and customer service as required.
• Flexible in hours of work from time to time as required

Qualifications:

• BESS/Bridge Engineering Self Supervision is a MUST
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• WTR License, Not required but desirable
• Need to know your way around 3 rows of 8 & 4 rows of 8 Trailer.
• Load Pilot License class 1 or 2
• Solid knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• Previous experience in the transport/logistics industry is a plus.
• Reliable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• At least 1 Weekend day for availability.
