About the RoleWe have an exciting position available for an administrator to join our Mental Health and Addictions Service as an inpatient administrator. You will enjoy working with a variety of people and situations and must be committed to providing excellent levels of service to attain our goal: To support Mental Health and Addictions Service to continue to earn the reputation as a service people trust with their loved ones care.Key responsibilities:Accurate and effective management of services both administration and clinical systems and processesMaintains positive and effective relationships with taangata whaiora/whaanau/colleagues and stakeholders of our serviceProvides high level of administration support across our service including co-ordinating, organising and collaborating Click here to view the position description.

About the Team/ServiceWe are the Mental Health and Addictions Service arm of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, Waikato. We provide specialist services for tāngata whaiora who are experiencing serious mental health difficulties. About youMinimum of two years administration experience Computing / information management (essential) or relevant work experienceKnowledge of administrative procedures and systems, acquired through training and experienceDemonstrated ability with written and oral communication and relating effectively with peopleCompetency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in upholding Te Tiriti principals and frameworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settingsAdaptable with a willingness to embrace multitaskingExcellent communication skills are required and confidentiality is essentialIt would be advantageous that you have had previous experience working within a health/mental health setting Working at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
