Senior Pharmacy Technician - Clinical Trials and Compounding Services at Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora Waikato -
About the RoleCome work with our team of pharmacists and technicians where you will gain or build on your knowledge of clinical trials and aseptic compounding. Clinical trials are essential for developing treatments of the future and improving patient outcomes.
This pivotal position, allows you to positively contribute to this ground-breaking work.Ideal for someone who would like to work predominantly with clinical trials while also contributing to the provision of aseptically compounded products for the oncology and haematology service.
You will work alongside the clinical trials pharmacist and other pharmacy technicians for clinical trials, and be part of the roster for the compounding service. Tasks include dispensing of trial medicines, maintenance of trial documentation, reviewing processes and liaison with the compounding unit, clinical trial nurses and trial monitors.
As the senior pharmacy technician in the clinical trials service, there is an opportunity to put your love of leadership, coordination and mentoring skills into practice. The salary for this position will be based on experience and in line with the Te Whatu Ora/PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific & Technical Collective Agreement Additional.
