About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled Data Scientist to join our clients dynamic team on a 6-month contract based in the heart of Auckland CBD. This is an exciting opportunity to work on impactful projects, leveraging your expertise to influence business decisions through data-driven insights and predictive modelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse large datasets to uncover meaningful insights and trends.
- Build and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and offer actionable solutions.
- Communicate insights effectively through reports, dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and presentations.
- Ensure data quality and integrity is maintained throughout all stages of analysis.
- Stay abreast of new developments in data science, machine learning, and AI.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis and machine learning.
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other data science tools.
- Exposure to big data platforms, cloud data services, and data warehousing.
- Experience producing high-quality, user-friendly reports using Power BI or Tableau.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative work environments.
- Clear communicator with excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
