CCTV Operator - Wellington

CCTV Operator VERSION 4 – Drainage & Stormwater Networks - Wellington Region | Full-Time | Stable, Long-Term Opportunity

This role is ideal for someone with experience in operating CCTV inspection systems in the civil or utilities sector, with a good understanding of network infrastructure and a commitment to safety and reporting accuracy.

• Conduct CCTV inspections of stormwater and wastewater pipelines
• Identify and record faults, defects, and other pipeline conditions
• Operate CCTV camera equipment and manage inspection footage
• Input accurate condition data using relevant reporting software
• Collaborate with maintenance and repair crews to prioritise findings
• Adhere to safety protocols and confined space entry procedures

• Previous experience in CCTV pipeline inspection or drainage-related work
• Familiarity with NZ Pipe Inspection Manual standards
• Competency in using CCTV inspection equipment and software
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence
• Strong attention to detail, reporting accuracy, and a proactive attitude
• Able to work independently and communicate well in a team environment

• Confined Space Entry Certification
• Traffic Management (TC or STMS)
• First Aid Certification
• Knowledge of asset management systems
