As we come into our peak season of production we are looking for a person to join our team to take on the role of Trainee Cook based in our Factory in Ferrymead CHCH. We are looking for someone who has either had some previous experience in baking or cooking or someone who has the passion and desire to learn the art of making NZ leading Fudge products.
The person will be required to do an afternoon early evening shift in time. There will be comprehensive training for the successful person and they will become part of a team that is committed to producing Fudge to the highest standard possible.
Full training will include the entire process of manufacture, food safety training in our processes for manufacturing, cleanliness and hygiene of the factory environment. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate the following
  • Previous work experience (preferably in a food manufacturing background).
  • Must be reliable and turn up on time.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25kgs.
  • A positive attitude towards other staff and the role in general.
  • A desire or passion to create perfect fudge in a commercial kitchen environment.
