Sales Consultant/Designer
At Little Giant Interiors, we design more than just kitchens — we craft spaces that shape the way people live, work, and connect. From kitchens and laundries to wardrobes, commercial cabinetry, and custom one-off pieces, our designs combine creativity, functionality, and the finest finishes.
We’re proud to work with New Zealand’s leading suppliers and trusted brands such as Blum, Hafele, Laminex, Dezignatek, Stefano, Caesarstone, Bestwood and more — ensuring every detail of our projects reflects quality and longevity.
We’re looking for a talented Designer to join our sales team who thrives on bringing ideas to life and loves working across a wide variety of spaces. If you enjoy collaborating with clients, pushing design boundaries, and seeing your work built to the highest standard, this role is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Run engaging consultations with clients to understand their lifestyle, needs, and vision across kitchens, laundries, wardrobes, and beyond.
- Develop innovative, functional, and stylish designs that reflect personal preferences while staying on top of design trends.
- Use design software (SketchUp or similar) to create detailed layouts, cabinetry plans, materials, and colour palettes.
- Recommend the best solutions using products from our trusted local partners, from hardware to surfaces and finishes.
- Work closely with our interiors team, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth execution and installation of projects.
- Provide ongoing support during construction and installation phases, solving design challenges with confidence.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for cabinetry and fit-outs, keeping projects aligned with budget and expectations.
- Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients every step of the way.
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience as a Kitchen, Interior, or Cabinetry Designer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in design software (SketchUp or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Strong project management skills to juggle multiple jobs and deadlines.
- A keen eye for design innovation, detailing, and functionality.
At Little Giant Interiors, you’ll be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team. You’ll have access to the best products, work on diverse projects from residential to commercial, and see your designs come to life with precision and care.
