Light Vehicle Fitter or Auto Electrician
Terra Firma Mining Ltd is a New Zealand specialist mining and underground operator. We are seeking an experienced LV Fitter or Auto Electrician to support our mining operations. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse fleet in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
About the role:- Maintenance and repair of light vehicles and 4WD fleet
- Breakdown response - Field service
- Preventative maintenance servicing to meet site compliance standards
- Component change-outs (suspension, brakes, steering, drivetrain)
- Maintaining accurate service records and reporting
- Electrical fit out
- Air conditioning installs and maintenance
- Working to strict mining safety procedures and site requirements
- Trade-qualified
- Experience working in mining, civil, or heavy industry environments (preferred)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently in remote or site-based conditions
- Current full driver licence (HR preferred)
- Strong commitment to health & safety
