Demi Sous Chef - Invercargill

We're a Classic New Zealand pub with a kitchen that blends modern cuisine. We have a large abundance of local seafood that we prepare and cook for our menu. Our Kitchen is well set out with a separate dessert and baking area as well as a well stocked spacious main kitchen.

We are located on Stewart Island, so a great place if you are into the outdoors and nature!

What we’re looking for
  • At least 2 years experience in chef de partie or sous chef roles
  • Can commit to the summer season
  • Has ideally worked with seafood
  • Someone who is competent on pan and grill work
  • Comfortable doing some baking.
  • Good Communication Skills both In the kitchen and with front of House
  • Someone with good food safety standards
