We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Engineer to join our team in Dunedin. This role is pivotal in delivering contract requirements, optimizing resources, and ensuring project success. If you have a strong background in engineering, project management, and contract administration, we want to hear from you!
**Key Responsibilities:**- Develop project methodology budgets, and programs for construction, maintenance, sealing and surfacing
- Work closely with estimators to prepare accurate estimates and tenders for contracts and variations
- Manage assigned contracts efficiently, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, timelines and financial targets
- Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met
- Maintain strong client relationships and stakeholder engagement to facilitate successful project delivery
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes
**Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in contract management, project delivery, and financial oversight
- Experience in surfacing, sealing, or pavement construction would be advantageous
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
