Financial Analyst

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join a significant programme on a contract basis. The role is ideal for someone who excels in financial modelling, analysis, and process improvement, and who is comfortable working independently across a large and complex environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and modelling
- Refine monthly financial processes and establish clear ownership/responsibilities
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate transaction reporting
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and support audit readiness
- Maintain and enhance the programme's financial model
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Collaborate with programme and business teams to support financial planning
- Perform budgeting, variance analysis, and risk assessments
- Leverage tools and systems for data extraction and insight generation
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar
- CFA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial analysis roles
- Strong Excel and financial systems proficiency
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and complex financial structures
- High attention to detail and excellent organisational ability
