Hydro Excavation Operator (Class 4)

Deverni Ltd is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Hydro Excavation Operator/Driver to join our growing team. You’ll be operating late-model hydro excavation trucks across a range of civil and industrial projects. This role requires someone who is motivated, takes pride in their work, and isn’t afraid to get hands-on when needed.

You will be based at our West Auckland (Henderson) depot and must be willing to travel to various sites across the Auckland region.

• A full, clean New Zealand Class 4 driver’s licence – applications without this will not be considered
• A strong attitude toward Health & Safety and safe work practices
• Respect for equipment and a commitment to machinery care and maintenance
• Reliability, motivation, and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
• Good time management and clear communication skills
• A professional approach to customer service
• Own transport to and from the depot
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test – we have a zero-tolerance policy
• No criminal convictions
