We are looking for a well experienced Cook with minimum 1 years of experience.
The ideal candidate must be physically fit have a sound experience of 1 year with reputedemployers in New Zealand or overseas.
You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform following tasks.
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
May set up and oversee buffets
May clean kitchen and work area
Must take care of health, safety and hygiene in and around work areas.
Make sure all the equipment you are using is safe to use.
May plan menus and estimate food requirements
May train other kitchen staff and apprentices.
Check freshness of the foods & ingredientsThe successful applicant for the position must have.
Have cooking experience in a busy environment and knowledge of different dishes.
Honest, reliable & dedicated.
Be flexible to work daily split shifts (Lunch & dinner) and weekends as per requirement.
Be experienced in taking full control of kitchen.
Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able-bodied to handle the workload and pressure for this job.
