Peter Keown Automotives is a modern automotive Mitsubishi parts and service center based in the north end of Oamaru, servicing all makes and models of automobiles. We are also proudly associated with the Auto Super Shoppe (network of 110 other workshops nationwide), AA licensed repairers and contractors for THL Motorhomes NZ.
Our locally owned and operated business is looking for someone with experience and knowledge in our exciting industry with NEW ZEALAND CERTIFICATE IN LIGHT AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING. This team member will bring key skills to our team which will assist us in our goals of providing the best customer service available in Automotive.
Key skills that are required for this role:- 3 years minimum of automotive experience
- Capable of all mechanical or electrical repairs.
- Experience with European vehicles is ideal but not essential
- Clutches, cambelts, engine rebuilds, brake components, suspension components etc.
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent diagnostic skill and problem solving
- Honest and reliable
- Have a good sense of humor
- Excellent attention to detail
- NZ Resident or Citizen
- WOF ticket (not essential but preferred)
