Estimator / Contracts Manager

- Visit site to measure and determine requirement of Site and Customer.
- Interpret plans to determine scaffold requirements (including site specific conditions / falsework).
- Liaise with Customer and Engineers regarding special jobs.
- Develop layout and best practice work method. Prepare estimate including labour, equipment and transport.
- Identify all factors which may impact on cost and / or ability to meet Customer requirements effectively, efficiently and safety.
- Prepare quote layout in such a way that it facilitates relevant subsequent analysis of costs and revenues.
- Prepare quote (including price) and terms and conditions of supply plus any relevant tags.
- Prior to commencement of work, obtain quote acceptance from Customer, including terms and conditions of supply.
- Where authority level exceeded ensure quote acceptance is approved by Manager including preferred / estimated start date.
- Prepare schedule of work requirements including preferred start and estimated completion dates
- Accurate and timely incorporation of extras onto invoices for approval.
- Ensure Customer is billed for variations.
- Monthly preparation of accurate and complete invoices for billing.
- On final invoice provide a complete billing summary; confirm full price charged, noting any exceptions (with reasons) showing piece or hourly rates as appropriate.
- Investigate any Customer queries regarding invoices. Resolve any disputed amounts promptly (ideally prior to next billing cycle) and any undisputed amounts are paid promptly.
- Full training for the job over 2-4 weeks
