We are currently seeking to employ a Contract Manager – for Everywhere in the Wellington Region! The role is to lead and manage our Team based in the Wellington Region, to fulfil client site commercial cleaning. We anticipate you will be residing in Wellington/Hutt areas currently – ensuring you are working closely with our Regional Manager in Wellington.

As a Contract Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing client relationships, coordinating cleaning operations, Recruitment and ensure Millenniums’ processes and policies are implemented across the region. By being the face of our business on site and ensuring cleanliness is maintained to a high standard, you are a key part of our company’s success and reputation.

This is not a 9am to 5pm role and will at times require flexibility in core hours and night work.

About the role:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to assess service quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage Health & Safety processes.
  • Take the initiative and think forward.
  • Training of new frontline employees.
  • Utilising Excel, Word, Outlook, Human Force and People Hub programs daily.
  • Resolving issues, communicating with your Regional Manager and client-base.
  • Completing regular QAs at client sites.
  • Be able to work outside of the standard hours as needed to fulfil business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, fostering trust and satisfaction.
  • Must enjoy driving as the region is significant. A company vehicle is provided. At times it may require overnight stays to meet these objectives.

About you:

  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
  • Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check!
  • Physically fit to do the job.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Fully proficient in Excel and Word, as well as being well-spoken with strong English spoken communication skills.
  • Must be proactive and solution oriented.
  • Fully proficient with Android phones, as a number of our processes are based on this platform on android phones.
  • A reliable work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and able to manage your time following training and instructions.
  • Experience in leading teams in Cleaning or service related industries and a good relatable knowledge to the Wellington community.
  • Preferred experience in ride-on commercial cleaning machinery.
