**What are we looking for:**
Our ESS team is seeking multiple Catering Assistants to join us at RNZAF Ohakea. This is a casual role, with shifts offered on an as-needed basis depending on operational requirements.
This is not your average Catering Assistant position—it’s an opportunity to step into a unique environment where you’ll challenge yourself while delivering premium service and working with high-quality products.
**You will be responsible for:**- waiting/clearing tables,
- dishwashing, pot washing,
- receiving deliveries and unloading
- assisting with food preparation
- providing professional customer service
- assisting with general kitchen and cleaning duties.
**Skills and experience:**
If you're our perfect candidate, you will be an energetic person with a great customer service and team player focus. You will be a multitasker, organised, hardworking, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will also have a full NZ Drivers Licence.
Ideally you will already have some experience working in a similar position and hold a food safety (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
