Retail Sales Associate - Part Time

Golden Fleece is a retail store providing a range of primarily New Zealand designed and made garments and accessories. We aim to offer a high standard of service to our customers no matter who they are, where they are from or what their beliefs.

Starting rate is $29/hr.

• Work to ensure a safe workplace for staff and customers.
• Treat customers and staff with respect at all times.
• Ensure the security of the business through management of stock, keeping keys, cash, codes and passwords secure.
• Alert management of potential security issues.
• Greet and receive customers in a welcoming manner.
• Serve customers by helping them select products, and provide advice when requested about the local area.
• Drive sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records.
• Process payments.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Keep clientele informed by notifying them of preferred customer sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
• Ensure the store is kept clean and tidy at all times.
• Ensure displays are current and changed on a regular basis in discussion with other staff.
• Assist with stocktakes as required.
