About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate golfer to join our Hamilton superstore in a permanent part-time position (minimum 20 hours per week).
Key shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (including late nights), with flexibility to cover additional shifts when needed.
This role is suited to a sales superstar who is looking to further grow their retail sales career with the support of a reputable NZ golf business.
This is a hands-on role combininggolf retail saleswith somebar service, where you’ll deliver a premium in-store experience from the moment customers walk through the door.

A Bar Manager’s Licence is an advantage. Don’t have one? No problem—we’ll support the right candidate through certification.
What You’ll Do- Deliver exceptional customer service in-store (& at the bar when needed)
- Drive golf retail sales
- Handle customer enquiries (in-person, phone, email)
- Support custom fitting and club repairs (training provided)
- Process online orders and manage stock
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation
- Assist with basic kitchen duties and uphold hygiene standards
- Support events such as corporate golf days
- Represent The Clubroom brand with professionalism on and off the course
- Passion for golf with golf industry experience ideal (playing and/or selling)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Retail or sales experience (preferred)
- Bar Manager’s Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive, proactive attitude with strong initiative
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit (on your feet, lifting up to ~15kg)
- Reliable, accountable, can-do attitude and a strong team player
