In this role, you will assist in managing day-to-day service operations, providing guidance to service advisors, and ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Assist in overseeing daily service operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
- Coordinate with workshop Manager, technicians and parts department to ensure efficient service workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, striving to resolve issues promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the flow of work in the service department.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and concerns and provide recommendations for service and repair work.
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure that work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Provide estimates for service and repair work and explain the options available to the customer.
- Follow up with customers after service to ensure their satisfaction and address any additional concerns.
- Greet customers and schedule service appointments.
- Obtain and provide accurate repair orders to technicians.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with completed work.
- Maintain clean and organized service areas.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience automotive industry as a service advisor or a similar industry (eg hotel, customer service)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and dealership management systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
