Marine Technician / Installer

Northside Marine are looking for a skilled and experienced Marine Technician / Installer to join our high-performing team in Brisbane. This is a full-time opportunity for someone seeking a career, not just a job. You’ll work hands-on with some of the industry’s most respected marine brands, including Yamaha, Jeanneau, Stabicraft, Surtees, Highfield, Stacer, and Haines Signature — along with top-tier marine electronics and accessories from Garmin, Lowrance, Simrad, Fusion, and Minn Kota.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Rigging and installing Yamaha outboard engines and genuine Yamaha components
  • Installing and configuring 12V battery systems, including dual setups, isolators, and smart charging solutions
  • Fitting of marine electronics and accessories
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
  • Outboard servicing and trailer maintenance
What We’re Looking For
  • Experienced Marine Mechanic or Auto Electrician
  • Understanding of Yamaha installations, marine electronics, and 12V wiring
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
You must bring:
  • Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • QLD Boat licence (or willingness to obtain)
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • Passion for boats and marine environments
  • Right to work in Australia
