We are looking for Trainee Cardiac Physiology Technician to undertake training on fixed term contract within Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Counties ManukauHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is firmly grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and is committed to building a health system that serves all New Zealanders.About the RoleThe role involves on the job training with completion of a one year Certificate of Physiological Measurement (CPM) offered by the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology (SCT).You will be trained to perform non-invasive cardiac procedures including ECG recording, Holter monitor and Event fitting, Exercise Tolerance Testing and spirometry.About the Team/Service/ LocationCounties Manukau has a strong, positive and forward thinking team.
You will be working alongside a supportive inter-disciplinary team within the Cardiology department including Physiologists, sonographers, Cardiac Nurses and Physicians across our Counties Manukau Sites.
