We are a little busier than usual for this time of the year, so we have some gaps on our roster coming up that you might just be perfect to fill!
We are looking for an energetic, customer focussed person to join our cafe team. We like to keep our rosters staffed well enough so that we have flexibility for organising leave, and so that the work load is shared well. We all work hard, and the day is fast paced, but we make sure everyone gets their breaks, and we'll keep you supplied with coffee:D
This part time role is rostered 2 - 3 days between Monday and Saturday. This may suit someone studying by distance learning, and the perfect candidate would be happy with part time hours, but also able to do some extra hours during busier times of the year, and to cover leave from time to time.**Please do not apply if you are not able to work week day shifts during term time, because we are only open until 4pm we don't have any after school shifts available, and we are currently full for Saturday only positions.**
You'll assist in the cafe serving customers, making hot and cold drinks, clearing tables, restocking cabinets, taking orders, keeping the cafe clean and tidy, chatting with customers, running meals - generally looking after customers and the cafe with a smile on your face:) We all share loads of dishes, cleaning, clearing and keeping up with food safety requirements and records.
We don’t have any positions for completely new to hospo applicants at this time unfortunately, as we are already training some awesome young people, but we’d love to hear from anyone with a background in cafe and or bakery work.
