Retail Pharmacy Assistant and Nurse Support

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our small retail team

This is a Permanent Full-time postition (35 to 40 hours per week) rostered Monday to Saturday, 9-5pm. No late nights, Closed Sundays and Public Holidays.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years Retail Pharmacy experience
• OTC and Natural Health knowledge
• to provide Exceptional Customer Service
• to be enthusiastic and dedicated
• to have a full drivers licence

Training will be provided on site but you will also need to study in your own time to complete the Level 4 Health & Welbeing course

• You must be prepared to prepare covid vaccines for administration and to administer covid and flu vaccines to patients.
• The position will involve assisting with health checks i.e. blood pressure, weight and other basic screenings including cholesterol and blood glucose.
• Also you will be providing basic wellbeing advice and providing a range of other basic primary healthcare services to members of the community including recommending over the counter medications and wound care.
• Identifying when referral to a pharmacist or nurse is needed for clinical advice.
