Think Water Taranaki is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Senior Service Technician/ Plumber to join our expert team. If you are passionate about working with pump systems and have a knack for troubleshooting and repair, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Install, maintain, and repair various pumping systems, ensuring operational efficiency and reliability.
- Install and repair water treatment systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in pump systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures.
- Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and provide expert advice on pump solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Registered Plumber
- Effective leadership skills
- Strong technical skills, with an emphasis on mechanical and electrical components of pump systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your time.
- Valid clean driver's license.
- Legally permitted to work in New Zealand
- A formal qualification in engineering or a related discipline.
- Certification or training in pump systems, hydraulics, or a related area.
