We have created a homely therapeutic environment that promotes independence for residents and helps to ensure they feel valued. Staff have an unobtrusive style of care to encourage residents’ sense of independence.

Key skills and experience for Caregiver role:

  • Experienced caregivers who have a sound knowledge of aged care and the complexity around patient care.
  • NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing is desirable.
  • Someone who aspires to a high standard and would enjoy working in a small, homely environment where you can make a difference for those you care for.
  • Someone who is currently doing their Health & Wellbeing training – we will support ongoing training and enable you to up skill.
  • Is caring and empathetic in nature and has a positive can-do attitude.
  • This is a hands-on roll and is very rewarding. You will work alongside a great team, with good clinical support and ongoing training.
  • Permanent Employment
  • Caregiver position available covering evening and night shifts.
  • Hourly rate depending on experience and skill
  • Located in Brooklands, New Plymouth

Key responsibilities:

  • Accompany and support patients with daily activities
  • Assist patients with their mobility
  • Prepare and deliver food and/or assist with feeding
  • Support wellbeing and assisting with personal care of patients

Key skills and experience for Cleaner role:

We are looking for an experienced cleaner who understands aged care and has a good knowledge of infection control processes. Someone who aspires to a high standard and can work independently and self-manage and has a good eye for detail.
