You’ll be working directly with the Director and Associates. This role means you’ll need to thrive on pressure and variety, take pride in being dependable, and love supporting others.
You’re comfortable working alongside tech and systems to make your work smoother—and you’re always up for learning something new.
What You’ll Be Doing
Honestly?
A bit of everything. No day will look the same—but if you like being useful and a little indispensable, you’ll love it.- Compliance work – Annuals, tax returns, GSTs, clean-ups, and the occasional curveball.
- Drafting advice – Help our senior team by pulling together the first draft of client-facing advice using your experience and clear thinking.
- Problem-solving – See a gap? Close it. Something unclear? Rewrite it. Someone stuck? You’re already helping.
- Pod support – You’ll work across teams as needed—kind of like duct tape, but smarter and friendlier.
- Leveraging tech – We use smart systems and automation to work faster, not harder. You’ll be expected to embrace them and help make things better.

- 2+ years of experience in a New Zealand accounting firm
- Strong accounting and tax fundamentals
- Confidence in your judgement and pride in your output
- Solid written communication—clear, concise, and client-ready
- Comfortable working with evolving systems and processes
- Whether you’re QBE, studying, or qualified—what matters most is capability and attitude.
