Trust Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Trust Accountant to head our accounts department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and reconcile trust accounts in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for trust accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with trust accounting regulations and firm policies.
  • Collaborate with legal team and clients to address trust account inquiries.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate records.
  • Review the company credit control procedure and develop and implement enhancements where required
  • Oversee credit control processes, including monitoring client accounts, managing collections, and reducing outstanding debts.
  • Assisting our Practice Manager
  • General administration and filing
  • Competent Microsoft Office user, especially Excel
  • Confident and articulate with strong verbal, written and grammar skills
  • Has a ‘can do’ attitude, ‘will do’ and ‘no worries’ attitude
