Rocky Point Station is a large sheep, beef and cropping family run operation located in the Hakataramea Valley.
We run Angus cattle and Romedale sheep with all progeny finished.
We seek an experienced person to join our team with the right attitude and ability to learn.The position would also suit a person willing to take the next step up, ideally with 2 years experience.
The ideal applicant will require;- Strong communication skills
- A passion for finishing stock - experience with high legume mixes, lucerne and fodder beet with sheep and cattle.
- A good team of working dogs
- Excellent stock, pasture management and attention to animal health
- Good record keeping and some experience with Resolution or a comparable system would be beneficial
- Able to assist with other jobs such as fencing and harvest if required
- NZ residency + full drivers Licence
- A sound three bedroom home is available as part of the remuneration package.
- Excellent Renumeration package (depending on experience)
- The opportunity to take on more responsibility as you progress
