We are looking for a young shepherd with a couple of years' experience and working dogs to join our team.

We run 9,000 ewes including 1,000 fully recorded stud ewes. 700 Hereford cows, mostly recorded, 1,800 hinds and 300 velveting stags on country ranging form intensive river flats to extensive hill country. Regular mustering on the hill and intensive finishing.
We are offering shared accommodation in a modern, warm house with good internet. We might also have another position coming up shortly for an experienced shepherd with a four bedroom home.
Geraldine is just 10 minutes away which has a full range of sports teams, banks, supermarket, pub etc. Woodbury Primary school is just 5 minutes away and Geraldine has a primary and secondary school. Larger towns of Timaru and Ashburton are just 45 minutes away.
Rocky Point Station is a large sheep, beef and cropping family run operation located in the Hakataramea Valley.
We run Angus cattle and Romedale sheep with all progeny finished.
