We’re looking for a skilled Registered Electrician who can step up into a Lead Electrician role when required — someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and thrives in a team environment.
About the Role
This is a hands-on position where you’ll be working across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You’ll take ownership of your work on-site and, at times, lead small teams to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out electrical installations, maintenance, and fit-outs
- Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with NZ standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site
- Lead small teams when required, coordinating tasks and workflow
- Liaise with project managers, clients, and other trades
- Maintain a strong focus on health & safety
- NZ Registered Electrician with a current practising licence
- Proven experience in commercial and/or industrial projects
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Leadership capability or experience supervising others
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Reliable, organised, and takes pride in quality workmanship
- Full NZ Drivers Licence
- Working at Heights and/or Elevated Working Platform Licence
