The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in keeping the site operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Electrical maintenance and responsive fault repairs across plant, production lines, and site services
- Installing, testing, and commissioning electrical equipment and systems
- Diagnosing and resolving electrical and automation faults efficiently
- Maintaining electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation
- Carrying out preventative maintenance in line with schedules and safety standards
- Working closely with production and engineering teams on continuous improvement
- Supporting planned shutdowns, upgrades, and new installations
- Ensuring all work meets electrical regulations, safety legislation, and food safety requirements
- Current EWRB registration, or an equivalent overseas qualification with the ability to gain NZ registration
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
- A safety-first mindset with a strong commitment to compliance and food safety
- Experience with PLC, SCADA, VSD, and Servo drive systems
- Exposure to CMMS or maintenance management systems
- Mechanical aptitude or a dual-trade background
