About the RoleAs a successful Clerical Reliever, you will play a key role in providing cover for planned and unplanned absences and peaks in service workload to the administration teams in the Renal, Rheumatology, Diabetes, Endocrinology and Pain services.
This is an 80-hour per fortnight, permanent position where you will be working from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am to 4.30pm.Day to day you will be involved in supporting the processing of patients referrals, booking patient appointments, managing administrative tasks and liaising with clinical staff to support patient care.
You will also ensure that patients are supported as they arrive for their appointments. Key responsibilities of the role:The Clerical Reliever role is essential in assisting with the smooth running of the Chronic Conditions Services. The role includes:Carrying out administrative activities accurately and promptlyMaintaining accurate records and waitlists of patients awaiting care.Booking patient appointments in the patient management systemProcessing referralsResponding to patient enquiries relating to appointments and liaising with clinical teamsCovering reception duties when and as required Click here to view the position description.
