Drainage Leading Hand
Our client is a leading provider of water and wastewater maintenance services in Auckland and they're looking for an experienced Drainage Leading Hand to join their busy Maintenance Team. Role Overview- Location: Albany/Henderson
- Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Permanent opportunity
- Full Class 1 Driver's Licence (essential), Class 2 & RTW endorsements are a bonus
- Immediate start
- Leading a small team (6-8 staff) on water and drainage maintenance projects
- Planning, scheduling and organising daily tasks to meet safety, quality and productivity targets
- Hands on involvement with drainage works, including pipe installations, maintenance and repairs
- Training and mentoring team members as required
- Ensuring health & safety compliance on site and identifying potential risks
- Maintaining a clean, safe and well organised work environment
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders and supervisors
What We're Looking For
Ideal candidates will have:- 3+ years experience in drainage, civil works or water/wastewater projects
- National Certificate in Drainlaying or equivalent Level 4+ water/wastewater/civil qualification
- Full Class 1 Driver's Licence (Class 2 & RTW endorsements highly regarded)
- Strong leadership, team management and communication skills
- Ability to work safely and effectively on active worksites
- Positive attitude, reliability and a hands on approach
- Lead a dedicated and skilled team in Auckland's water maintenance sector
- Includes company phone, laptop, vehicle
