Barista / Waitperson - Christchurch

Terra Viva is busy day-time cafe located 5 minutes from Christchurch International Airport on the corners of Wairakei Road and Roydvale Avenue. We're looking for an experienced, energetic and reliable person to join our Front of House Team.

• At least 12 months barista experience.
• A passion for all things food and beverage related.
• Experience providing table and counter service in a cafe / restaurant setting.
• The ability to flourish in a fast paced work environment. With seating for over 120 patrons, we can be very busy through peak service periods. You'll need to be able to think on your feet and ensure our customer's expectations are exceeded when the pressure is on.
• A warm and friendly demeanor along with a great sense of humour. To be successful in this role, you must be able to communicate effectively and build rapport and respect with your co-workers and customers.
• It's an absolute must that you're reliable, punctual and efficient at all times.
• As we are a 7-day a week hospitality business, weekend work will be required.
