This position is on a six monthly rotation.The rotation includes the following areas:Acute Orthopaedic and Surgical ServicesGeneral Medical and Neurology ServicesOlder Persons, Rehabilitation and Stroke ServicesOpportunities for support and development within Rotorua Hospital include:Clinical Supervision by Senior StaffProfessional Peer ReviewInterdisciplinary New Graduate Peer Support within Rotorua HospitalRegional Occupational Therapy New Graduate SupportFormal In-service ProgrammeIn addition to providing direct Occupational Therapy, the Therapist will play a key role in contributing to the promotion and development of the Occupational Therapy service and the profession as a whole.The role will allow you to complete the Occupational Therapy process with a varied caseload and provide the opportunity for working within the inpatient environment with the potential for some community follow-up work.About the Team/Service/ LocationHealth New Zealand |Te Whatu Ora Lakes provides healthcare from its two modern and progressive general hospitals in Rotorua and Taupo, New Zealand.
