About the RoleThis specialist role spans the maternity continuum, working in partnership with LMCs, hospital midwives, nurses and obstetric teams to deliver safe, culturally responsive, and coordinated care. With its vibrant atmosphere and proximity to outdoor adventures, Hamilton is an ideal place to live and work.For more information on living and working in Waikato click here About youYou’ll bring advanced midwifery expertise and demonstrated leadership, including:Five years clinical midwifery experience, with at least two years in a role relevant to perinatal loss or high-risk pregnancy care.Attained Leadership Level on the Midwifery Quality and Leadership Programme.Relevant postgraduate study (completed or currently in progress).Proven contributions to clinical education, innovation, or research.Registration with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand.Current Annual Practising Certificate (no conditions).Your ability to provide expert guidance, advocate for equitable care, and lead compassionate clinical improvement will be key to your success in this role.
