CNC Operator

You’ll be working on a wide variety of projects where your technical skills and precision will be valued. Your responsibilities may include (but not limited to):

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
• Operating CNC and manual machines including lathes, mills, grinders and drill presses
• Setting up and maintaining machining tools and equipment
• Assembling metal components, checking accuracy and tolerances with precision instruments
• Diagnosing faults and performing basic maintenance on machinery
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• (And in some cases) assisting with installation and setup on-site

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3+ years’ CNC machining experience
• Trade qualification preferred (but not essential if you have the right experience)
• Your own tools and reliable transport
• Strong commitment to health and safety
• 2 solid work references
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Class 1 licence is a bonus, but not a dealbreaker
