Heat Pump Service / Maintenance Technician

Do you have a background in heat pump / air conditioning maintenance and are looking for a role where you can work independently, take pride in your work, and build great relationships with customers?
This is a field-based role servicing and maintaining residential heat pump and ventilation systems throughout the Canterbury area but predominantly in Christchurch and the immediate surrounding areas. You'll be out on the road each day visiting customers in their homes, carrying out professional servicing and maintenance work across a range of systems including:
Ideally you will have worked with heat pumps before and be able to hit the ground running. However - we'll provide full training to the right person. What matters most is that you:
Heat Force Ltd is looking for a motivated Service / Maintenance Technician to join our team.
About the Role:This is a field-based role servicing and maintaining residential heat pump and ventilation systems throughout the Canterbury area but predominantly in Christchurch and the immediate surrounding areas. You'll be out on the road each day visiting customers in their homes, carrying out professional servicing and maintenance work across a range of systems including:
- Single-split and multi-split heat pumps
- Ducted heat pump systems
- Pool heat pumps
- HRV and other residential ventilation systems
You'll work to our comprehensive service process, ensuring every customer's system is running at its best. A company vehicle and mobile phone are provided, so you'll have everything you need to do the job well.
About You:Ideally you will have worked with heat pumps before and be able to hit the ground running. However - we'll provide full training to the right person. What matters most is that you:
- Have a trade background or relevant hands-on technical experience
- Are customer-focused, professional, and take pride in your work
- Can work independently and manage your own time effectively
- Hold a full New Zealand driver's license with a clean driving record
- Are a strong communicator who can build rapport easily with customers
- Are methodical, accurate, and reliable
