Duty Manager
Big Barrel is proudly the largest Independent 100% NZ Family Owned & Operated Liquor group in NZ. Big Barrel is a specialist liquor retailer formed in 2003 and has since grown to over 50 stores nationwide.
Padda Enterprises Limited T/A Big Barrel at Marewa, Tamatea, Carlyle St, Taradale, or Clive. We are looking for 5 full-time and some part-time (3-4) enthusiastic candidates with some retail experience to join our team in the following areas: -
Big Barrel MarewaBig Barrel Tamatea
Big Barrel Carlyle
Big Barrel Clive
Big Barrel Taradale
This role includes but is not limited to:- Customer Service
- Inventory control,
- Managing local promotions and displays.
- Receiving/dispatching deliveries if required.
- Customer Service

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Empathy with our customers
- Extremely clear and professional phone communication
- Very customer service oriented
Unflappable under pressure.
- Process and systems are driven. Efficient and effective!
Definite sense of humor.
- You need to be physically fit as there will be some lifting involved.
- You must have a Duty Manager Certificate & a LCQ Certificate.
- 2 Years Retail experience is required

In addition to Duty Manager, further roles for Store Manager, Supervisor, Store Person, Sales Person Roles are also available for Full time, part-time & Casual Roles. Requirements for such roles vary. Please mention your choice when applying for any different role other than a Duty Manager and we can provide further details as required accordingly.
