About Us :Freight Masters Limited is a Hamilton-based company. We specialise in road Freight Transport service. We are currently seeking two reliable Truck drivers to join our team. The position is full-time and permanent with a minimum of 30 hours per week from Monday to Saturday (Sunday sometimes).

As a Truck driver your responsibilities are:
To drive Company vehicles in a safe and legal manner whilst keeping service levels high and ensuring daily work is completed.Deliver a wide variety of Goods and Cargo to different addresses and through
Different routes in Auckland Region
Follow routes and time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
Maintain records of deliveries made.
Complete logbooks and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow Health and Safety regulations and safety standards
Handing Job Sheets in timely manner
Manoeuvring vehicles into position for loading and unloading
Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading vehicles
Making regular quality checks of vehicles to ensure they can be driven safely
Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight
Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage
Reporting to the Manager/Director
Ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration and COF of vehicle are up to date.
Must be physically fit for manual handling of deliveries.
Ensure the truck is loaded appropriately and the material is recorded correctly.
Ensure all loads comply with height, weight, and specification.
The ideal candidate must:
Must have a valid New Zealand or International Licence Equivalent to Class 1 of New Zealand Truck Driving LicenceMust Pass Drug Test
Must not have any prior serious driving convictions
Have good attention to detail
Please note that the job has morning start at 7.00 AM and this is a full-time position with rostered/split shifts. Applicant should be available as per the rostered shifts.
Applicant for this position should have NZ Residency or a valid NZ work visa.
