Landscape Maintenance Team Leader

At South Pacific Landscapes, we pride ourselves on maintaining high-end residential and commercial properties with exceptional landscaping and gardening services.
We are seeking an experienced gardener who can lead our gardening team & maintain our prestigious properties.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in horticulture and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful gardens.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and enhance the landscapes of high-end residential and commercial properties. Operate gardening tools safely and efficiently, including hedge trimmers and blowers. Perform pruning of various plants, including fruit trees and roses.

Conduct fertilising and pest control measures, identifying and treating diseases. Provide guidance and leadership to team members, ensuring high standards of work. Collaborate with clients to understand their gardening needs and preferences.

Qualifications: Proven experience in gardening and landscape maintenance, specifically with high-end and commercial properties. Strong knowledge of plant care, pest identification, and disease management. Experience in operating gardening tools and machinery.

Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication skills and customer service. Qualified horticulturist certification is an advantage. Grow Safe certification is a plus.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Physical Demands: Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy items, and capable of climbing ladders to trim the tops of hedges.
