**He angitutanga | The Opportunity**

As a Cook in one of Wellington Airport’s premium lounges, you will prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals while ensuring all food safety, health, and hygiene standards are met. You’ll play a key part in delivering an elevated culinary experience that exceeds guest expectations.

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present menu items to a consistently high standard.
• Receive, rotate, store, and manage food supplies in line with operational guidelines.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by upholding personal presentation and collecting and responding to guest feedback.
• Keep kitchen areas clean, sanitised, and well-organised, following all hygiene and food safety requirements.
• Apply catering control principles, minimise wastage, and support special dietary and cultural meal requirements where needed.

• Hold an NZQA Level 4 Cookery qualification (or equivalent), with at least 3 years' experience as a Cook or Chef.
• Able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive, professional manner.
• Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit with strong knowledge of safe food handling, manual handling, and hygiene standards.
• Available for morning, evening, and weekend shifts and able to meet security and police-check requirements.
