Customer Service Representative/Car Groomer

This role involves plenty of variety - customer service, car grooming, driving our airport shuttle and maintenance runs. And an opportunity to learn and grow with a Kiwi-owned and operated car rental company.

• Dealing with customer walk-in/phone queries and seeing them through to resolution
• Answering all calls and emails in a timely manner
• Accepting and processing payments from customers
• Explaining rental terms to customers and having them sign the rental contract
• Checking out new rentals and checking in returning rentals, including vehicle condition checks
• Driving the airport pickup van for customer pick-ups and drop-offs
• Grooming and inspecting of cars to get them ready for rental
• Basic vehicle maintenance, new vehicle assessments, and road testing
• Organising and getting WOF’s, COF’s and Rego's

The branch is situated near Wellington airport and is open Monday to Sunday, 7 days a week. We are looking for flexibility of worked hours with weekend work being likely. We are also looking for availability for occasional evening callouts and you may need to work on some public holidays.

Candidate requirements:

• Good clear, articulate oral and written English communication skills
• Great attitude, keen to learn, good work ethic, taking pride in providing quality service
• No experience necessary as training is provided
• Full , clean driver licence
• Living close to the airport (ideally within 20 minutes’ drive) is desirable
